Tips for when hiking in the French Alps

If you go hiking in the French Alps, put on sturdy hiking boots. Some of the hiking routes in the Alps are unpaved and also go up and down the mountains, so good footwear is desirable. The weather in the mountains can change, so remember to put on several layers of clothing so you can always take something on and off when the weather changes. Also, always take enough food and drink with you when hiking in the French Alps or find out well in advance where you can stop for food and drink. Always go hiking in the Alps well prepared.
