Despite the French Alps being known for its winter sports, this area is ideal for hiking in summer. During a hiking holiday in the French Alps, you can choose from beautiful routes such as Lac de la Grande Léchère (11.9 km), Lac Blanc (5.52 km) and La Crête - Le Cheval Noir (10.4 km). These routes offer stunning views of the mountains and lakes. Nouvelle-Aquitaine also offers beautiful routes such as Les Falaises de Beauvoir - boucle (8.13 km) and Tour du Lac de St Cyr (5.06 km). Tip hike through one of the largest wetlands in Europe: Marais Poitevin. There is an ideal walking route for every level of hiker from our parks.
