Domaine Castellane is close to the breathtaking Verdon Gorge, the largest canyon in Europe, eroded by the Verdon River. Domaine Castellane is within walking distance of the Lac de Castillon, a lake with a length of no less than 16 kilometers, known for its characteristic azure blue waters. The nearby Lake of Sainte-Croix has a variety of water sports facilities.

In winter, a stay at this resort is very worthwhile. From Castellane, popular ski resorts such as La Foux d'Allos, Pra-Loup, Valberg, and Isola 2000 can be reached within an hour (by car). The nature in the Verdon is beautiful when it is painted in the colors of fall.
